I founded KHAØS in Berlin in 2025 with the aim of bringing together two worlds that form part of my identity: the power of metal guitar and the physical energy of hard techno.
Together with Chilean guitarist Martín Azath, we created a hybrid live act that combines live instrumentation with the intensity of a club set. Our sound is inspired by the power and attitude of artists associated with HEX, such as Lorenzo Raganzini, Paolo Ferrara and Mayhem, although we seek to develop our own identity within the convergence of metal and techno.
Pounding bass drums, tempos that frequently exceed 160 BPM and aggressive riffs define our sound. We weave expressive guitar work—ranging from heavy riffs to deep, melodic solos—into fast-paced, dark and high-impact sets.
The combination of a powerful visual identity and a distinctive sound creates a constant tension between musicality and chaos. We create immersive, fast-paced and intense experiences for unpredictable dancefloors, where metal and techno converge into a single physical experience.
I met Martín whilst studying Music Production at BIMM Berlin. The creative connection was immediate, and from that encounter KHAØS was born.
We recently took part in the HÖR Berlin competition, where we ranked 20th worldwide out of more than 1,300 entrants, receiving a total of 281 votes.
In May, we made our official debut as KHAØS with a techno-metal set at the Bi Nuu venue in Berlin, bringing the project’s sonic and visual identity to life on stage for the first time.
